Agricultural Parts Sales Specialist

Up to £31,000 based in experience

About the Role

Are you looking for an opportunity to build your career within agricultural parts and machinery?

We are recruiting on behalf of an established and well-respected business within the agricultural sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a friendly, proactive and customer-focused Agricultural Parts Sales Assistant to join their busy team in Tiverton.

Working alongside an experienced Parts Manager and wider team, you will play an important role in providing a high level of service to customers, processing parts orders and helping to keep the parts department running efficiently.

This would suit someone with previous experience in agricultural machinery or parts, although applicants with strong customer service, administration and sales experience who have an interest in the agricultural sector will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with their parts enquiries, both face-to-face and over the telephone
• Identify and supply the correct parts to meet customer requirements
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stock control
• Update customer and product information on internal systems
• Liaise with suppliers and colleagues to source parts where required
• Help ensure orders are processed and available within the required timescales
• Provide a friendly, knowledgeable and professional service to customers
• Support the Parts Manager and wider team with the day-to-day running of the department

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Customer-focused with a friendly and professional approach
• Proactive, reliable and able to work well as part of a team
• Organised with good attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Confident using IT systems and able to pick up new software quickly
• Experienced in administration, sales or customer service
• Ideally, knowledgeable about agricultural machinery, equipment or parts

Previous agricultural parts experience would be an advantage, but is not essential for the right candidate.
