Job Description:

Day Webster are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 8a Social Worker - Adult Social Care.

Our client is looking for the ideal candidate to start as soon as possible for a long term contract. The shift pattern would be Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week, although the service would consider other suitable work patterns for the right candidate. 

The social worker will need to hold good awareness, understanding and application of the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.

Must be be able to complete the following work:
S.9 adult social care assessments and support plans.
Mental capacity assessments.
S.42 safeguarding enquires.
Risk assessments.
Carers assessments.

What you need – Role requirements
  1. Adults experience
  2. Valid Driver’s licence
  3. Degree or Diploma in Social Work 
  4. Active Professional registration with Social Work England (SWE)
