CNC Miller and Turner (Extensive Overtime)

Exeter

Up to £23ph (OTE up to £68,000) + Extensive optional Overtime + Benefits + Early Finish on a Friday

Are you a CNC Miller or Turner with experience working on CNC milling machines and CNC lathes, looking to join a well-established engineering company where you will predominantly be working on one-off products so no one day is the same?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an established precision engineering business, where you will program, set and operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes to manufacture a variety of components to exact specifications, working with a range of metals and engineering materials.

This role would suit a CNC Miller, CNC Turner, CNC Machinist or similar with experience operating CNC milling machines and/or CNC lathes and looking for a varied position where you can work on both one-off and production components within a well-equipped engineering workshop.

In this role, the successful CNC Miller & Turner or similar will program, set and operate CNC machinery, interpret engineering drawings, carry out dimensional inspections, and manufacture precision components to demanding tolerances while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

The Role:

• Setting and operating CNC milling machines and CNC lathes to manufacture precision components
• Monday to Thursday 7:00 till 16:00 and 7:00 till 13:00 on Fridays
• Overtime paid at 1.5 x, up to 15 optional hours available per week

The Person:

• CNC Miller, CNC Turner, CNC Machinist or similar background within programming
• Experience working within a precision engineering or heavy engineering environment
• Ability to work on both one-off/bespoke components and production runs would be advantageous
