Community Care Assistant Job in Paignton

£14.25 to £16.69 per hour.

Shift pattern

Week 1: Monday: 08:30 - 16:00 & 18:00 - 22:00 | Wednesday: Waking night 22:00 - 08:00 | Friday: 08:30 - 16:00 & 18:00 - 22:00 | Saturday: 08:30 - 16:00 & 18:00 - 22:00, 22:00 - 08:00 (Waking night), Sunday: 18:00 - 22:00

Week 2: Thursday: 08:30 - 16:00
About the role

This is a long term, consistent placement supporting one client in their own home and within the community.

Your responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support.
• Assist with an exercise programme and mobility needs.
• Prepare meals and drinks.
• Support with light administrative tasks.
• Drive and accompany the client to work and community activities.
• Promote independence, dignity and choice at all times.

What you need

• At least six months of paid UK care experience, or relevant personal care experience.
• Confidence supporting individuals with limited mobility.
• A full UK driving licence.
• The right to work in the UK.
• Good spoken and written English.
