## Job Description: Complex Care Support Worker (EX7)

### About the Role

We are seeking a Complex Care Support Worker to provide person-centred care and support to a client with a moderate learning disability and autism in the EX7 area. The role will involve supporting daily living needs, promoting independence, and ensuring the client’s comfort, safety, and wellbeing at all times.

### Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support tailored to the client’s needs, abilities, and preferences
• Support with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities
• Encourage communication, routines, and independence in line with the care plan
• Support with community access and meaningful activities (where appropriate)
• Monitor behaviour and triggers, and report observations accurately
• Maintain accurate records and complete shift documentation
• Work collaboratively with families and the wider care team
• Follow safeguarding, infection prevention, and risk management procedures at all times

### Required Experience & Qualifications

At least 12 months’ UK care experience Experience supporting individuals with learning disability and/or autism Understanding of person-centred care and positive support approaches Ability to follow care plans and record information clearly Full right to work in the UK

### Preferred Requirements

CPI trained (preferred) * Ideally with up-to-date knowledge of crisis prevention and de-escalation strategies
