Contract Manager (Cleaning Services)

Pertemps is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple commercial cleaning contracts across the South West & Wales

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with previous cleaning management experience who is looking for a long-term opportunity, with the potential for the role to become permanent.


Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum
Benefits: Company Car/Car Allowance, Bonus Scheme
Location: Covering 


Due to the nature of the position, a full UK driving licence is essential, as regular travel between sites will be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing multiple cleaning contracts across various locations.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Conducting regular site visits to monitor cleaning standards and client satisfaction.
• Managing recruitment, onboarding, training and development of staff.
• Carrying out site audits and ensuring Health & Safety compliance.
• Handling client queries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensuring sites have appropriate staffing levels, equipment and supplies.
• Managing performance, disciplinary and grievance matters in line with company procedures.
• Providing ongoing coaching, guidance and support to teams.
  
  

About You

• Previous experience managing commercial cleaning contracts is essential.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience with recruitment, training and staff development.
• Health & Safety knowledge or qualifications advantageous.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence essential.
• Flexible approach to working across sites and supporting operational requirements.
