Job Description:

Salary: £50,000 Company Car or Car Allowance
Location: Devon - Exeter office base

We are currently working with a leading social housing contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee planned works and retrofit programmes across occupied Housing Association properties throughout Devon, Dorset and Wiltshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business and take responsibility for a contract, with the ambition to grow the programme to around £10 million per year.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the contract, including:

• Programming and planning works.
• Managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Monitoring progress, quality and costs.
• Managing client relationships.
• Ensuring works are delivered on time and to a high standard.
• Maintaining strong Health & Safety standards.
• Managing works within occupied social housing.
• Helping develop and grow the contract.

We are looking for a driven and experienced Contracts Manager with a strong background in planned works.

You will ideally have:

• Experience as a Contracts Manager or similar.
• Experience delivering planned works, ideally within social housing.
• Retrofit or energy-efficiency experience would be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety.
• Strong experience in programming and planning works.
• Experience managing subcontractors and teams.
• Good communication and client management skills.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Relevant construction qualification - HNC, SMSTS, First Aid
