Near Newton Abbot | £26,000-£30,000 per annum | 8:30am-5pm, Monday-Friday + 1 Saturday in 4 (until 12pm) | Permanent | Office-Based

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Customer Care Account Manager on behalf of a growing business near Newton Abbot.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Customer Care Account Manager, Customer Account Manager, Customer Success Manager, Client Relationship Manager, or Account Manager looking to develop their career within a supportive and ambitious business.

Key Duties

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, from sole traders to senior business leaders.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and act as a trusted point of contact for client enquiries.
• Work closely with the Manager to achieve business objectives and support company growth.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell products and services.
• Handle customer queries professionally and provide effective solutions.
• Support client retention by delivering a consistently high level of service.
• Develop long-term business relationships through regular communication and account management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in account management, customer service, customer care, retail management, hospitality management, or a similar client-facing role.
• Customer-focused with a positive, proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confident identifying opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy office environment.
