Exeter | £28,000-£32,000 per annum | 8:30am-5pm | Monday-Friday | Permanent | 1 Saturday in 4 from home

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced Account Manager / Customer Account Manager to join a growing business in Exeter.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in retail management, hospitality management, customer care or sales management who enjoys building relationships, identifying new business opportunities and delivering excellent customer service.

• Permanent position.
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5pm.

• Build strong relationships with new and existing clients, from sole traders to senior leaders.
• Identify opportunities to develop and grow client accounts.
• Support business growth through cross-selling and upselling.
• Handle client queries professionally and provide effective solutions.
• Work closely with the Manager to achieve business objectives.
• Develop new business through networking, marketing, community engagement and client meetings.
• Take a consultative approach to understand client needs and identify suitable solutions.
• Maintain strong, long-term B2B relationships.
• Monitor market and client activity to identify new opportunities.

• Previous experience in account management, sales, retail management, hospitality management or customer care.
• Experience winning new business and developing B2B relationships.
• Customer-focused approach with a strong commercial mindset.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confident handling queries and identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell.
• Tenacious, proactive and commercially curious.
• Strong questioning and listening skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
• Positive, can-do attitude and commitment to supporting business growth.
