Job Description:

An established organisation in the Newton Abbot area is looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join its team on a permanent, part-time basis.

This is a varied customer service and administration role where you'll be a key point of contact for customers, ensuring orders and enquiries are handled accurately and providing clear, helpful and professional support throughout.

The role

• Process customer orders, quotations and enquiries via telephone and email
• Track orders through to delivery and keep customers updated on lead times, backorders and delays
• Liaise with internal departments regarding customer requirements, appointments and updates
• Help coordinate orders with specific or customised requirements
• Respond to product, warranty, servicing and repair enquiries
• Handle complaints and service issues professionally
• Maintain accurate customer and order records using CRM/ERP systems
• Process credit notes, returns and repair bookings
• Provide administrative support to other teams
• Coordinate with production, warehouse and logistics regarding delivery schedules
• Build strong relationships with internal and external customers

About you

You'll need previous experience within customer service, order processing or administration, together with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You'll also have strong attention to detail, confidence using CRM/ERP systems and general office software, and the ability to manage a busy workload while remaining calm, accurate and professional.

A patient and empathetic approach to customer service is particularly important for this position.
