Electrician (Renewable Energy)

Field Based - South West; Can be based Cornwall, Devon, Somerset

£40,000 - £45,000 + Company Vehicle + Overtime + Training & Qualifications + Benefits

Are you a qualified electrician with domestic, commercial or agricultural experience?

Are you looking to develop your skills within the renewable energy sector, gaining exposure to domestic, commercial and agricultural projects, with further training and qualification support provided?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing renewable energy business specialising in solar PV, battery storage and EV charging solutions across a diverse range of sectors.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an Electrician to join their installation team. Importantly, previous experience within commercial or agricultural environments is not required, as the company can provide comprehensive in-house training alongside support towards additional external qualifications to help you develop your skills across these areas.

You will work across a varied portfolio of domestic, commercial and agricultural renewable energy projects, offering an excellent opportunity to broaden your technical experience and develop a long-term career within the renewables industry.

This is a great opportunity for either an experienced electrician to join a company with plenty of progression opportunities, or someone looking to broaden their horizons in the renewable energy sector.

The Role:

*Field-based position covering the South West.
*Installation of solar PV systems, inverters, battery storage and EV charge points.
*Working across domestic, commercial and agricultural renewable energy projects.
*Carrying out testing, commissioning and sign-off of installations.
*Working from technical drawings and installation plans.
*Diagnosing and resolving technical issues on-site.
*In-house training provided to develop your knowledge across commercial and agricultural installations.
*Support towards external qualifications and further professional development.
*Occasional overnight stays for larger installations, with expenses covered.

The Person:

*Fully qualified Electrician with domestic, commercial or agricultural experience.
*18th Edition Wiring Regulations
*2391 Testing and Inspection (desirable).
*An interest in renewable energy technologies, particularly solar PV and battery storage.
*Full UK Driving Licence.
