Entry Level Mechanical Fitter (Specialised Hydraulic Training)

£25,000 + £35,000 + Specialist Training + Progression + Overtime + Workshop Based + No Call Out

Do you want to kick start your Engineering career and have experience within a workshop environment looking to step into a tight-knit company offering progression to senior levels, the opportunity to boost your income further through 1.5x overtime pay and specialist sort-after training in Hydraulics and Welding?

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established and growing remedial repair services to haulage fleet operators. After 45 years, this company has grown relationships with the biggest regional agencies and are looking to further grow their tight-knit team of 5.

In this role you will be based at their workshop, repairing and refurbishing hydraulic cylinders while maintaining high standards of safety. You will either work independently or as a team and initially working closely with the Director to get you up to speed in their speciality. Overtime is availing in the evenings and 7am-1pm Saturdays at 1.5x to boost your income.

This role would suite a Junior / Trainee mechanical fitter with workshop experience looking to step into a role that can offer specialist training in Hydraulics and Welding.

The Role:

• Repair and refurbish hydraulic cylinders
• Diagnose hydraulic and mechanical faults

• Fitting Track units on fleet vehicles
• Monday - Friday 8am-5:30pm and workshop based
• Overtime available at 1.5x pay

The Person:

• Junior / Trainee Mechanical Fitter
• Broad engineering back ground with workshop experience
• Happy to commute to their workshop in Cullompton
