Geotechnical Engineer

Location: Exeter

Permanent Opportunity

£30,000 to £36,000 per Annum

We are looking for a talented Geotechnical Engineer to join a growing and collaborative engineering team based in Exeter. This is an exciting opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer with experience in either ground investigation or geotechnical to work on a wide variety of projects across the UK.

As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering practical, high-quality engineering solutions. The role in Exeter offers strong career progression, hands-on project involvement, and support from experienced professionals.

Key responsibilities:

• Interpret ground investigation data and produce clear, concise reports
• Undertake geotechnical design including foundations, retaining structures, and earthworks
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
• Support site activities and ensure technical quality
• Contribute to innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions

About you:

• Experience as a Geotechnical Engineer or in a related field
• Background in ground investigation
• Live within a commutable distance of Exeter
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or similar
• Full right to work in the UK permanently
