HR Manager

Barnstaple

£75,000 - £90,000

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to join a leading manufacturing business in the Barnstaple area.

This is a strategic leadership role, responsible for driving the people agenda across the site, partnering with senior management to support organisational growth, employee engagement, workforce planning, and operational performance.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the site HR team and HR strategy
• Support workforce planning, succession planning, and organisational development
• Manage employee relations, performance, and disciplinary matters
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention activities
• Drive employee engagement, culture change, and development initiatives
• Ensure compliance with employment law, HR policies, and best practices

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role
• Strong employee relations and performance management expertise
• Experience delivering organisational change and engagement programmes
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR compliance
• Skilled in workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
