Job Description:

Part time cleaner 

£13.40 per hour | Approx. 30 Hours per Week | 4 Days per Week

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable part time Cleaner to join a busy and friendly environment in Plymouth.

Shifts will work over 4 days per week on a rota covering Monday to Saturday. Shifts can vary between 6:30am start and 7pm finish, so flexibility is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out general cleaning duties to a consistently high standard
• Cleaning offices, staff areas, reception areas and communal spaces
• Vacuuming carpets and hard floors
• Sweeping, mopping and polishing floors
• Dusting and wiping down furniture, fixtures and fittings
• Cleaning washrooms, toilets and welfare facilities
• Replenishing consumables such as soap, toilet rolls and paper towels
• Emptying bins and managing waste disposal in line with site procedures
• Cleaning windows, internal glass and high-touch surfaces
• Sanitising touchpoints including door handles, handrails and workstations
• Reporting any maintenance issues, damages or health and safety concerns
• Ensuring cleaning equipment is stored safely and maintained appropriately
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations and cleaning procedures
• Supporting with deep cleaning duties as required
• Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors at all times

Essential Requirements:

• Recent professional cleaning experience is essential
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking approach
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures
• Flexible attitude towards shifts and working patterns
