Our client in Exeter, Devon is actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parts Advisor to join their reputable automotive team. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in automotive parts sales, who wish to develop their career within a well-established company in the motor trade industry. The Parts Advisor role

• Standard working hours from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Duties of the Parts Advisor:

• Delivering expert parts sales advice to customers, ensuring excellent service standards
• Assisting with warehouse duties and stock management
• Handling parts for trucks, trailers, and general consumables
• Managing customer relationships, resolving queries, and upselling where appropriate
• Maintaining accurate records of sales and stock movements
• Engaging actively with colleagues to foster a team-oriented workplace
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures in the parts department

Requirements:

• Proven experience or knowledge in auto parts sales or engine and vehicle parts
• Strong computer skills for stock control and order management
• A clean, valid UK driving licence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Customer-focused approach with the ability to build rapport quickly
• Open to training and committed to ongoing professional development
• Ability to work efficiently within a busy parts department
