Production Operative - Timber Truss Assembly

Cullompton area | £12.71 per hour (£19.07 overtime) | Monday to Friday | Temporary to Permanent | Full-Time

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing company in the Cullompton area.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for a full-time production role with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right person.

Working as part of the production team, you'll assist with the manufacture and assembly of timber roof trusses and components, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Please note: Due to the location, applicants must have their own transport.

Key Duties

• Assemble timber trusses and components to production specifications.
• Work as part of a team to achieve daily production targets.
• Carry out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
• Operate hand tools and production equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.
• Support other production duties as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, construction, timber work, assembly, or factory environments is advantageous but not essential.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Positive and flexible approach to work.
• Own transport is essential due to the location.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 7am-3:30pm.
• Friday: 7am-2:30pm.
