Regional Manager – Heating & Plumbing | South West 

Covering Somerset, Devon & Cornwall) 

 
£55,000–£65,000 Basic + Bonus (OTE £75,000–£85,000) + Company Vehicle + Excellent Benefits 

Career-Bridge Recruitment is working exclusively with a well-established and rapidly growing heating & plumbing contractor to recruit an experienced Regional Manager to lead and grow their South West operation. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of an established region, build a high-performing team and play a key role in the continued expansion of a respected business. 

This role you can be located anywhere South West based Between Somerset to Cornwall due to working on the road and working from home. 

• Running their own successful heating & plumbing business, or 

• Working as a Contracts Manager, Installation Manager, Operations Manager or Regional Manager within the heating industry. 

The Role 

• This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll be responsible for: 

• Recruiting, managing and developing a team of heating engineers. 

• Growing the business across Somerset, Devon & Cornwall. 

• Building relationships with customers, merchants and commercial partners. 

• Surveying work, producing quotations and winning new business. 

• Overseeing quality, compliance and operational performance. 

• Managing the day-to-day running of the regional operation. 

• You'll spend your first few weeks at the company's head office to learn the business before taking full ownership of the South West region. 

What We're Looking For 

The ideal candidate will currently be: 

• Running their own successful heating & plumbing business, or 

• Working as a Contracts Manager, Installation Manager, Operations Manager or Regional Manager within the heating industry. 

You'll also need: 

• Current or previous Gas Safe registration. 

• NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Plumbing & Heating or recognised apprenticeship. 

• ACS qualifications (CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT & HTR1 minimum). 

• At least 5 years' installation experience. 

• Previous management or supervisory experience. 

• Full UK Driving Licence. 

• Additional qualifications such as OFTEC, G3, LPG, F-Gas or Heat Pump experience would be advantageous. 

Package 

• £55,000–£65,000 basic salary. 

• Realistic OTE £75,000–£85,000.
