Senior Site Manager

Exeter | Permanent | Full-Time

£65,000 & Benefits package

Sphere Solutions are working with a Tier 1 contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Site Manager to join their team in Exeter, delivering a large complex design and build project in the heart of Exeter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day running of the site
• Drive the construction programme, identifying risks and implementing solutions
• Lead, motivate and develop site teams
• Ensure the highest standards of health, safety and quality are maintained
• Chair daily coordination meetings with subcontractors
• Maintain accurate site records and provide regular progress updates
• Work closely with commercial, buying and design teams
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Essential Criteria:

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager working for a Tier 1 or main contractor
• Experience delivering design and build construction projects, Passivhaus is preferred
• Strong understanding of construction methodology, procurement and project delivery
• Experience managing Health & Safety, quality and Temporary Works
• SMSTS, CSCS Card and First Aid qualification
