An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Agent to lead the delivery of a key work package on one of the UK's most prestigious marine civil engineering projects.
Working on a nationally important infrastructure development, you'll take ownership of complex heavy civils and reinforced concrete works within a demanding marine environment. The Role

As Site Agent, you'll be responsible for the safe, efficient, and commercially successful delivery of a significant section of works, ensuring projects are completed to programme, budget, and the highest quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Taking overall responsibility for a major package of works
• Leading Senior Engineers, Section Engineers, and site delivery teams
• Managing subcontractors and specialist supply chain partners
• Driving short-term planning and maintaining programme performance
• Acting as the primary point of contact for the client and attending progress meetings
• Promoting and maintaining exemplary health & safety standards across site
• Reviewing and approving RAMS
• Working closely with commercial teams on cost reporting, forecasting, and budget control
• Identifying project risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies
• Ensuring technical compliance and quality across reinforced concrete and marine construction activities

About You

We're looking for an accomplished Site Agent with a proven background in heavy civil engineering projects.
You'll ideally have:

• Experience delivering major civil engineering schemes in a Site Agent position
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete construction
• Marine or large infrastructure project experience (desirable)
• A successful track record of leading site teams and subcontractors
• Good commercial awareness with experience working under NEC contracts
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Eligibility to obtain SC Security Clearance
