Job Description:

Although this role covers the South and Southwest, a majority of our Training Providers in this region are based within the West Midlands and South Wales area. where a larger volume of work is required.

Locations covered within role include (Birmingham, Black Country, Warwickshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Swindon, Wiltshire, Dorset, Avon, Somerset, Devon, Cornwall, Oxfordshire , Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Milton Keynes, Mid Wales and South Wales.)

About the Role

We have a fantastic opportunity to be part of the CITB Customer Engagement Team as a Training Provider Relationship Manager, where you will be engaging with training providers on behalf of CITB.  Whilst the role involves supporting the growth and engagement of the Training Provider Network, this is not a sales or new business development role. We are looking for an experienced relationship manager who can build trusted partnerships, manage and develop existing provider relationships, understand provider challenges, and work collaboratively to improve outcomes across the construction training sector.

You will build and maintain positive relationships with providers who deliver construction training, while also supporting their business development needs. A good understanding of the construction skills landscape, alongside experience within construction training, would be highly beneficial in this role. You will use this knowledge to understand the challenges and opportunities facing training providers and support them effectively within an evolving construction skills landscape.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable travelling extensively across Great Britain to meet and build rapport with our customers, and a keen collaborator who can ensure clear communication channels with colleagues across the business. You will manage stakeholder expectations across CITB and your customers. You’ll be the main point of contact for our customers and will need to support their business development in an evolving construction skills landscape.
