Job Description:

Job Shop Recruitment is looking for a reliable and organised General Admin / Dispatch Administrator to join our team at our offices in Torquay.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of administrative and dispatch duties, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and dispatched efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and redirect incoming telephone calls as required.
• Process and dispatch all mail orders and regular B2B orders using a variety of courier platforms.
• Track customer orders and provide Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation when required.
• Take occasional telephone orders and process payments.
• Liaise with customers and assist with general enquiries.
• Carry out other general administrative duties as required.
• Assist with the MRP system when capacity allows.
• Ensure orders and associated administration are processed accurately and efficiently.

Hours of Work

The ideal working hours are 9:00am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

However, we would consider 9:30am–3:00pm for the right candidate to accommodate school runs and other family commitments.

• Organised and reliable.
• Confident communicating with customers by telephone and email.
• Comfortable using computer systems and online platforms.
• Accurate and methodical when processing orders and administrative information.
• Able to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Flexible and willing to assist with a variety of administrative tasks.

Previous experience in administration, order processing, dispatch or customer service would be advantageous, although we would consider the right applicant with transferable skills.
