Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced and ambitious Sales Account Manager to join a growing business in the Exeter area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, uncovering opportunities and working as part of a collaborative team. You'll manage an existing portfolio of customers while identifying new opportunities to grow business relationships.

• £27,000 basic salary plus performance-based bonus, with realistic OTE of £32,000+.

• Manage and develop relationships with an existing portfolio of customers.
• Identify and engage potential new clients through research, networking and proactive outreach.
• Negotiate the purchase and resale of products within international markets.
• Build long-term partnerships and identify opportunities for account growth.
• Work closely with colleagues to achieve individual, team and company objectives.
• Maintain accurate records and manage customer activity through internal systems.

• Enthusiasm with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to identify opportunities and confidently engage with prospective customers.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Self-motivated with a genuine desire to learn and develop.

• Collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to team success.
• Willingness and confidence to travel abroad for client meetings.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable but not essential:

• Previous experience in sales, account management, purchasing, business development or a customer-focused commercial role.
• Exposure to purchasing, procurement or supply chain environments.
• Experience managing accounts and developing client relationships.
• Knowledge of electronics, manufacturing or technical products.
• Experience working within international or export-focused markets.
• A second language.
